Roscan Electronics is pleased to announce the installation of our latest Pick and Place machine, providing maximum performance and efficiency to service our continued growth. This year has already seen the addition of two AOI machines expanding our existing Automatic Optical Inspection capacity, enabling both pre and post reflow inspection. Another Pick and place machine is in the pipeline to be installed before the end of the year.
With continuous investment in additional feeders, our machine placement capacity has increased both in terms of component placements per hour and package types, with each machine capable of supporting 120 different line items. As Roscan Electronics continues to expand, we remain committed to purchasing and maintaining the most “state of the art” equipment available.
“These are exciting times at Roscan,” says Cliff Withers, Roscan’s Sales & Marketing Director. “We are investing in new equipment and software, as well as the building infrastructure. Our batch size capability continues to increase, meaning we are competitive in a whole new marketplace” He continues, “Quality of product and service, along with the increases in capacity has lead to Roscan winning the confidence of customers in this new marketplace. With the modifications to the building infrastructure, we are also able to enhance our cable manufacturing facility and dedicate more space to our ‘box building’ department.” He concludes, “All in all, this has been a pretty successful year.”
